Admissions

Any child applying for admission to the first grade should be at least six years of age by August 15. We highly recommend that your child be seven before enter school. There are reasons for this based on mental and physical development. We admit and comply in accordance with South Carolina compulsory attendance laws.

Physical exam reports from a physician must be submitted by all new students. A student coming from another Seventh-day Adventist school may submit a previous physical report.

All students transferring from another school will be required to present a transcript from the school previously attended.

Parents seeking admission for their children thereby place themselves on record as being in harmony with the principles of the school.

Poplar Springs Seventh-day Adventist School admits students to all the rights and privileges in administration of education, application for admission or extracurricular programs accorded or made available to students. No discrimination will be made based on race, color, ethnic background, country of origin or sex.

We are accepting applications for the 2024-25 school year and will consider new applicants grades 5-8 until classes are full.

We encourage you to explore our website and schedule a time to visit our school.

We look forward to meeting your family soon!
